My season as a Park Ranger at Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park has ended and here are some images from the area that I captured.

The nearby Crystal Dam that provides electricty to the area.

And there were plent of wildflowers



They grow grapes for wine here



This rainbow appeared on my first day of work, a good omen.

Nothing like a campfire in Colorado.
Arrived in Colorado yesterday.

Aspens just starting to change colors.

Thunderstorms have made their way over Curecanti National Recreation Area in Colorado.






Crested Butte is know for it’s spectacular winter ski scene but is quite popular in the summer for it’s flora, fauna and mountain biking. The surrounding Gunnison National Forest provides a spectacular landscape and numerous outdoor activities.









These mountains are rugged and at the foot of the more imposing San Juan Mountains of Southwest Colorado. Watch for wildflower images from this area in tomorrow’s post












Even The Locals Haven’t Seen It Rain As Much As It Has This Spring.
