You get two seasons for the price of one. Dixie National Forest near Cedar City, Utah, received a few inches of fresh snow the other day on top of the autumn colors already present. The elevation at this spot is around 8 to 9,000 feet and the temperature was 39 degrees F at midday.

What is Yellow, Orange, Red, Magenta, Apricot, Pineapple, Ochre, Ruby, Plum, Sage, Gold, Amber, Rust, Mustard and Peach? Here’s a hint.

It’s a mystery to me why some Aspens have full color and Aspens nearby have already lost their leaves but that’s nature. Filmed from above at the Kaibab National Forest in Northern Arizona.

Colors Persist At Zion NP

Autumn has decided to stick around a bit this year in Southern Utah. Two weeks ago these maple trees in Zion were mostly green. In years past, the colors would have been at peak. But patience and another trip up Zion Canyon enabled me to get these shots.
