When you do a search on the internet for Colorado’s best drives for autumn colors, Kebler Pass will appear at or near the top on most lists. This year, the colors showed up in a multitude of shades. Gunnison National Forest was the obliging host.
Crested Butte is know for it’s spectacular winter ski scene but is quite popular in the summer for it’s flora, fauna and mountain biking. The surrounding Gunnison National Forest provides a spectacular landscape and numerous outdoor activities.

Lost Lake is near Crested Butte, Colorado and you kinda have to be lost to find it. It’s in the Gunnison National Forest and Kebler Pass. There’s a very nice campground there too.
