It’s July So It Must Be Monsoon Season

It had been a slow start to the monsoon season here in Northern Arizona and Southern Utah but storms are passing through the region every day now. This video shows a storm gathering but I didn’t detect any lightning. I did run across lightning yesterday near Zion so stay tuned Anon for those pics and videos.

These clouds reach far into the sky and are forerunners of monsoonal storms to come.

Threatening Sunset Skies

The skies last week in Utah’s Zion Country were ominous if not dramatic. Because of the wide open expanse of the landscapes, three panoramas were necessary to capture it all.
