Video from monsoon storm that closed Zion National Park on Monday. That caused me to reroute through Northern Arizona and endure the most intense lightning storm I’ve ever seen.

Angry thunderstorms provide a contrast to the colorful wildflowers growing in high elevation farmland in Southern Utah.
Fortunately no one was injured in the production of this video. Shot (filmed) last night( July 12th) from just outside Zion National Park in Southern Utah. The seasonal monsoons have finally arrived and can hopefully help the firefighters control the forest fires here and in Arizona and Colorado. Music is In Too Deep by JMJ and Flytronix. As the monsoon season begins to wind down, I was able to capture some lightning shots.
This is an image produced by stacking seven images in Photoshop. Each image needs to be shot using a tripod and pointed in the exact same direction so the images register.
