At this time of year, you can enjoy the Milky Way without having to stay up till 2 a.m. I started shooting these images around 10:30 p.m. Went to about midnight after waiting some for couds to dissipate. Just find a dark place like Zion National Park, which is designated as a Dark Sky Park!
That’s in Colorado where I have returned to work for the NPS this season.
