No, you’re not seeing images from my recent voyage to Mars (There is a Mars Research Station nearby). These are the mostly abstract scenes around Factory Butte which is a ubiquitous landform in the area. Have you ever flown your drone over the top of Factory Butte?
It is a stunning landscape.
Thanks Katelon. Never flown in top of Factory Butte. I’m only allowed to fly the drone no more than 400 feet high according to FAA regulations
It really does look like another planet!
And nothing really grows out there.😎
Uniquely amazing, I would say!
Thanks Stella 😀
Marvelous photos, Mike. I love the play of light and shadow on these forms. I’ve never seen anything quite like it.
Thanks Eliza. I took these around 8 in the morning when the sun wasn’t too high yet.
If you had said it was another planet, I would have believed y🪐
It does remind you of when we were getting ready to land on the moon years ago
Surreal and unreal and really cool.
It is definitely surreal 😎
