Google says real fans of the Roadrunner cartoon character say Meep Meep and so do I. This one is probably not the cartoon character but showed up on my patio anyways. He didn’t say Meep Meep !

well, if that’s what google says……and Chat says meep meep is right…
The Looney Tunes roadrunner, made famous by Chuck Jones and voiced by Paul Julian, officially says “meep meep,” according to Warner Bros. Julian himself reportedly said it was “meep meep,” though because of the way it’s delivered—fast and high-pitched—a lot of people hear it as “beep beep.”
In fact, “beep beep” became so common in popular culture that even licensed Road Runner toys and merchandise sometimes used that version.
So officially:
🟢 “Meep meep” is correct.
👂 But a lot of people still hear it as “beep beep.”

That would be the best place to see roadrunners. I tink it’s the state bird.

It sure could be. We’re not golfers, but we know golfers who have played there and they told us that the golf courses in the Phoenix area are overrun with them!

Hard to define what they sound like, isn’t it? During mating they sound a little like doves.

Cartoons are not accurate but I’ve never heard them in nature.
