What Is Bentonite?

It is a natural clay or ash that is produced from volcanoes. People have used it as a health aid for detoxification. When ingested, it helps to draw out the toxins that are present in your body. It aslo has many other benefits but definitely not FDA approved.

HOWEVER, I didn’t make a trip to a remote area of Utah for health benefits. From ground level you see layers of different colors present but it’s from above where you are amazed and flabbergasted. This is the reason why I bought a drone. The lines of color are formed when different minerals of different colors seep through the clay.

See companion video later today.

The Bentonite Hills near Hanksville, Utah, provide colorful and unusual geologic patterns in the landscape.

It’s a fairly unspectacular landscape here from ground level. You can also see my post on the nearby Mars Society Research Station where scientists assimilate living on the Mars surface.

On some of these images, you’ll see me and my shadow. I look rather insignificant in this landscape.

Me and my vehicle are about 100 yards below.

From the ground, I couldn’t see the shapes and lines.

    Wow! So stunning.

I used to do week long Betonite clay fasts with psyllium seed.

That’s pretty cool. I’ll need to check that out. I’m going through rehab on my knee and could use some help, thankfully I don’t need an operation

Thanks Eliza. It’s been fun. Not sure if I can find subjects as good as these.

It was pretty intense….a TBL of Betonite clay suspended in water, pre-mixed, a tsp of ground psyllium seed, in a quart jar of water with an inch of juice in it. And daily coffee enemas. There is a supplement you can buy already mixed with water and clay. The clay pulls toxins away from the walls of the intestine, the psyllium seed then scrubs it all out. Coffee enemas stimulate the intestine and liver for clearing toxins out.

Good luck with the PT. Glad you don’t need surgery.

There are also reflexology points for your knee on the outside of your foot.. Just feel for the triangle part just past your outer heel. Rub along the bone part to the point of the triangle. Rub both feet. Your side with the affected knee will be more tender.

Thanks again. I do feel mild pain on outside of my foot at times

By rubbing a reflexology point, it breaks up blockages in the nerve flow and brings healing. I fell through a hole in the floor of a store in 1970, landing on stairs and falling more. I was in pain for years. Finally in 78 I was led to a reflexologist. It was the first time I’d been without pain, so I learned how to do it. It was the first of 16 therapies I learned and it started my 40 year career.

I’ve been through Hanksville a couple of times and you’re right: much more impressive from above.

      You’re definitely correct about Hanksville
