North Carolina’s Cape Hatteras

I had never been to the coast of Carolina but Cape Hatteras National Seashore is a thin strip of land, made up mostly of sand dunes, beaches and ocean waves. November seems like a good time to visit since there were few tourists and I had long stretches of beach to myself.

Sand Dunes and Ocean Waves make up the scene at Cape Hatteras National Seashore, North Carolina.

Ripples in the sand and ripples in the sky.

It is one long straight highway, stretching about 60 miles.
