I had never been to the coast of Carolina but Cape Hatteras National Seashore is a thin strip of land, made up mostly of sand dunes, beaches and ocean waves. November seems like a good time to visit since there were few tourists and I had long stretches of beach to myself.

Good to hear Bethany. I felt exhilarated at the time I took these.
That’s wonderful! I can tell from the impression of the photos that you were exhilarated.
Beautiful scenery and photos. How magical to have the whole place to yourself.
It was really nice to be there by myself
So beautiful! This place has long been on my bucket list. 🧡
Go in the off season as some of the towns in the area are well developed
Hello Michael, the landscape is very interesting and the second image stands out for the similar patterns on beach and in sky…
Thank you for sharing 🙂
Thanks Sreejith 😁

Absolutely beautiful and sublime photos.
Thanks Michael 😃
You’re welcome.
Beautiful photos. The one with ripples in the sand and rippled clouds in the sky is especially unique.
Thanks. And I agree about the ripples
That looks very much like our North Atlantic coast, only our sand is of lighter colour.
