We’ve never stayed after dark in any national park, but now I see what we’ve been missing. Thanks for beautiful photography in one of nature’s prettiest spots.

What is the bright object in the lower left?

Along the horizon is probably lights from the nearby town of Kanab. The red glow is from a huge forest fire at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon

No, this is above the horizon. It’s too small to be the Moon.
I just looked at my Heavens-Above app to see what is rising with the GC. It’s Jupiter.

Yes, Jupiter is usually very visible in the night sky
