I’ve been to Willis Creek’s slot canyon during the warmer months so I wasn’t expecting snow and ice the other day. It made for some slick navigation which shortened our hike. Willis Creek is located in the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument in Southern Utah.

Great photos! This is one of my favorite hikes in southern Utah – not overrun with people, non-technical and quite pretty. Can’t wait to get back there in May!
