Zion’s Observation Point Trail

It was 100 degrees Saturday and smoke from that nearby forest fire was in the air but my friend Jemmy and I made it to the top in about 2 hours. It’s 4 miles up and strenuous! All of theses images were taken with my new Google Pixel 2 smart phone camera, reputed to be the best camera in a phone. I did not edit any of these.  Very sharp and great color!

On The Edge

I got brave last week and ventured out to the edge of this point that looks toward Marble Canyon and the Grand Canyon. I set up my camera on a tripod and set the timer to release the shutter every 15 seconds. That was as far as I got to the edge! Looked like a 2,000 foot drop below.

Photo Of The Week- Toilet With A View

This bathroom perched on the rim of The Grand Canyon at Toroweap probably has the best view of any toilet I’ve ever seen. If it only had windows!
