Fog Rises From The Depths

Arizona, Grand Canyon, National Parks, Weather

Of the Grand Canyon that is.  Warm air and water vapor doubling as fog will rise from the bottom of the Grand Canyon during the rainy monsoon season. I just have to get up early enough.

Watch Rain Shower Appear and Disappear

Arizona, Desert Southwest, Grand Canyon, National Parks, Time Lapse, video, Weather

Monsoonal moisture over the Grand Canyon produced much needed rain this week but watch as a cloud produces a rain shower and watch as that rain disappears.. Hot dry air from the depths of the Grand Canyon is probably responsible for the dissolution of the rain. I thought for sure I was going to be rained on. Watch in HiDef at Full Screen.
