Cedar Canyon is between Cedar City and Cedar Breaks National Monument in Southern Utah. It is marked by Ponderosa Pines, Aspens and sandstone cliffs.  Autumn is a special time to visit at or past peak color.

Peak Color At Kaibab National Forest

This national forest in Northern Arizona straddles the Grand Canyon. There would be very little color if  the Aspens didn’t flourish here.

An Explosion Of Color!

I wasn’t quite expecting the  brilliant colors I encountered at Kolob Reservoir yesterday. I really caught the aspens at peak, peak color!.  Kolob Reservoir is about 35 miles from Zion National Park in Southern Utah and at an elevation of some 8,000 feet.
