A friend of mine said he saw an anomaly on the 3/4 full moon the other night over Zion National Park. It just so happened that I photographed the moon Monday night and saw what he was talking about. What do you think? Also, don’t forget about the lunar eclipse early Friday morning.
Aspens are really popping right now in the upper elevations near Zion National Park. Fall colors should arrive to Zion Canyon in a few weeks. Can’t wait!

The aptly name Nautilus is an unusual rock formation carved by erosion in Southern Utah.

Caught this rainbow dancing along the desert floor near Marble Canyon at Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona. It played with the monsoonal clouds passing through to provide some abstract images.
