Yes, I can see that. We drove similar roads on the Canary Islands and on Madeira. The ancient country roads, that are now not used anymore for general traffic. On Madeira they were especially adventurous.
Fabulous images, Michael! The shot with the huge wave erupting behind the rock is great. And you found some terrific light in your dreamy coastal landscapes. Envious- I didn’t get to the coast during the super high waves this year.
I’ve done parts of the PCH, but not this part (yet). My goal is to do the whole thing (in pieces). Good lord it looks treacherous in places. I can see why parts of it are often washed out.

I remember years ago that one of the passengers in my car had to switch seats so as to be away from the edge of that highway.
