Colorful Blue Ridge Parkway

This scenic highway operated by the National Park Service, stretches 469 miles from Virginia to North Carolina. I recently drove the road just past peak fall colors but they were awesome nevertheless.

Fall colors have arrived along Virginia’s Blue Ridge Parkway.

Haze and fog envelope the mountain ridgelines along Virginia’s Blue Ridge Parkway.

    Lack of rain gave us an early fall and colors were more isolated. Glad to see you in our “neck of the woods”
