We had anywhere from 7 to 10 inches this week so the fresh powder provided a contrast to the red rock architecture of Zion National Park.

Just WOW. 😍😀😊💕
My fave is the frozen waterfall.
Thanks, glad you liked!
Beautiful work, Michael. You’ve captured such great colors and details of the snow patterns. Nature is amazing and your passion for documenting it is impressive!
Thanks Jane for the wonderful comments. It was a magical week at Zion!
You’ve captured the beauty of the season at Zion, and I only wish I could see what you’ve seen! Thanks for sharing these magnificent scenes with us.
Glad you enjoyed. It’s been a cold and snowy winter at Zion this year
I am in Awe, with your images, wish I could go there, but trough your images I get enough for now, thank you for sharing
You’re welcome Cornelia
Absolutely stunning images 🙂
Thank you for sharing…
Thanks and you’re welcome!
The rocky mountains under the snow, a wonder of nature.
I do not know if I will still have the chance to cross the Atlantic to come see them, but this is in one of my dreams.
The snow in the Rocky Mountains lasts through April or May. Live your dreams!
Wow, that contrast between the reddish rocks, blue sky and the snow!! It’s so different to the blue/white winter landscapes we have here in Switzerland!!
It is an unique look
Stunning photo’s!
Snow adds another dimension to an always beautiful landscape!
We have had a lot of snow this winter so it’s been special
Wonderful! Wouldn’t mind sharing them with my blog readers? Anyway, I called by to leave my thanks for your recent decision to follow Learning from Dogs. Thank you!!
Thanks Paul. Please share!
Michael greetings… your rim access to Marble Canyon from a dirt track 8910 off 89A. Might you share directions please. I plan to drive in early May and was impressed with your photographs… just signed up for the blog. Much appreciated, Dean
Yes, that road 8910 is the road to access Marble Canyon. It starts about 12 miles west of Lee’s Ferry on Highway 89A

For sure!! Love it here 😄💕

These pictures are AMAZING! Were you able to visit Bryce Canyon? Last time we were there it was closed due to a snow storm and we’ve been wanting to go back so badly! But Zion is just stunning! Your pictures make us want to go back soon!
Thanks for the kind words!
