I tried boogey boarding on sand dunes once and the board didn’t slide at all. Maybe skis would work

It’s inexcusable that I’ve lived in California for 9 years and haven’t been to Death Valley yet. Soon!!! In the meantime, glad to catch a glimpse of it through your camera. Very nice photos!
