What’s In The Clouds?

No, this post isn’t about that virtual hard drive in the internet cloud where you can access Photoshop and other programs and files. This is a science lesson about the clouds we actually see in the sky. Ever wonder what type of cloud is overhead dropping buckets of H2O?  No.  Maybe you want to know what type of clouds are those that have a wispy, artistic look, kind of like Salvador Dali’s mustache?  So, below are some scenes I shot that show different cloud types with scientific names followed by those cloud types with names I made up!

Beautiful images! Wow … and I like your names better. Much more fun for us non-scientific types.
