Photo of the Week or What is The State Insect of Nevada?

It’s a damselfly called a vivid dancer. I captured this slick looking bug at Yellowstone National Park. That look on his face reminds me of those old clown face photos that would scare the hell out of me when I was a kid.  Damselflies are like dragonflies except for the creepy looking faces.


I was told as a kid that dragonflies etc. would zip your lips shut. I used a telephoto lens to get in close.
