Pics from my recent trip to Mars
Just got back from a trip to Mars. Yes, the planet Mars. I wasn’t expecting much life there, the food was terrible and the landscape was most unusual. Glad I brought my camera and my astronauts suit because it was very cold . The trip there usually takes 6-9 months but I found a wormhole and was able to make the round trip in about a week. Below is a pic of my craft that I used to get there. It’s like a Porsche with rockets. Reminds me me of a joke- Why does NASA believe there might be life on Mars? The CD player was stolen from their Mars rover.
Nothing like an early morning hike
The more I wandered, the more I was in awe. The martian environment is really cool. The following is a bunch of images I captured during the week. Hope you enjoy.
This is where I camped the first night.
The weather was threatening to say the least
Looks like a structure from a lost civilization. Maybe a shopping mall.
There was a restaurant in there. Good sushi.
This looks like an old ocean liner.. Maybe this is the Titantic.
The skies were brilliant but the land didn’t offer much to grow on. Actually, pretty lifeless.
This looks like an old abandoned castle or a Las Vegas Hotel.
The landscape was beautiful and reminded me of things back on Earth.
No wonder they call it The Red Planet
These rocks were more psychedelic.
The rivers here DO have water. What an amazing discovery I made !!
They should ban bottled water on Mars also.
The creature on the left is a statue. A monument to Mar’s past civilizations. Kind of looks human. Maybe we ………
Guess what? There’s plenty of oxygen on Mars. Didn’t need my space suit after all.
Their arches are better than McDonalds’
It looks like they painted their landscape with a brush.
This place had a street sign at the entrance. Called Park Avenue.
There are steps leading to this structure. Another sign of past life.
Even their sunsets are better than ours. That’s an old pagoda on the left
I’m pointing to another arch. They should call this place Arches National Park
Damn, I thought I was the first human on Mars. Just another bunch of photographers. Oh well, time to wake up.
