Spring Photography Workshops- Here In The Desert Southwest
I will be conducting personal 1 on 1 photo workshops here in the Desert Southwest. I will bring you to those “hard to get to”places that you may have seen in my photos at Dawn2Dawn Photography

Fog, Sunlight, Zion Canyon- A Photographers Dream!
Fog enveloped Zion Canyon the day after a Pacific storm blasted through Southern Utah last week. Fog and fall colors are a great foreground to the sheer and rugged Navajo Sandstone canyon walls at Zion National Park. These images and more are available as prints at Dawn2Dawn Photography Website.

Lake Powell Moonrise
Lake Powell is on the border of Utah and Arizona. Formed by the construction of the Glen Canyon Dam, it has more shoreline than our Pacific Coastline. You might recognize in some of the photos, how the waterline has been dropping because of the drought in the area. I was there to capture the full moon rising. Utah’s Negro Bill Canyon Trail
You’re probably wondering about the name. William Granstaff , a black man, settles in Moab in 1877 and successfully becomes a cattle rancher. The trail leads you through this glorious canyon composed of Navajo Sandstone, Cottonwoods, Willows, Juniper, Pinyon Pine, some prickly Cactus and one refreshing perennial creek. The big payoff is at the end(2 1/4 miles from the trailhead), the Morning Glory Natural Bridge, at 243 feet wide. A natural bridge is an arch but with water running under it.
Photo Workshop In The Desert- October 27th Thru The 31st
I will be conducting photo workshops the week beginning October 27th in and around the Coyote Buttes area on the Utah/Arizona border. This is a remote area that that is famous for The Wave but there are also other great landscapes to capture. Below are some images of places I will take you to.
