The Off The Beaten Path Cathedral Gorge State Park

Cathedral Gorge State Park is in Nevada but close to the Utah border. It’s in a remote location and gets little visitation but it is grand nonetheless.  These Bentonite spires were formed through erosion over millions of years and seems prehistoric. I kept waiting for a Neanderthal to appear.

Erosion has carved unique bentonite formations at Cathedral Gorge State Park, Nevada.
