is terrible, the worst
Their customer service is abysmal. I wanted to have a few small things fixed on my 5D mark III and they wouldn’t fix it because the rest of the camera needs some fixing which I am aware of. They won’t do partial repairs they told me. This is not the first time I’ve had issues with their customer service and repair service. It is the worst of any company I’ve ever dealt with in my entire life. Shouldn’t have bought that new Canon camera….

Oh bummer. I’ve had reasonably good service from Canon in Australia, the one time my camera was still under warranty. I know a great all-round camera repairer in Australia. He’s part of a worldwide network. Shall I ask if he can recommend someone near you? Utah I assume.

Yes, that would be great Peggy. I tried a shop in Las Vegas and they said to send it to Canon. Maybe there’s someone else in the Vegas area

We have very limited professional camera stores in Vegas. Try Tempe Camera in the Phoenix area. Repairs are done on site there.

It’s disappointing when a big company offers such poor service. Maybe you’ve been unlucky to get a person having a bad day and taking it out on others. I hope you are able to get some satisfaction.

Their corporate policy is to NOT do partial repairs. They want all of your money

And I told the guy that I just purchased another brand new camera and lens for 4 grand, you would think I would get some courtesy and respect

I have two Canon cameras and I have never had any issues with them, other than one is so old the plastic molding is coming off it still works though.

The equipment work fine for the most part but if you need repairs, its a horrible experience and this happens every time I send something in.
