Yosemite Valley is expected to receive at least a foot of snow today(Friday) Wish I could be there. The High Sierras are expected to get 3-4 feet of snow as well. Below are some images from about 10 years ago when Yosemite Valley received a foot and I was there to experience it.

nice! I’d like to go cross country skiing in the valley some time. I love it there, winter would be pretty cool.
That storm is headed to Southern Utah today and maybe I can go x-country skiing at Bryce this week. Yosemite would be cool too.

My kids and I used to camp in Yosemite every summer ~ never been in the snow. Beautiful photos!
