Beautiful shots of the moonrise, Mike! My wife is always saying we should get up early (like 3 or 4 am)and drive out to get sunrise in the different areas we visit. I told her we should just spend the night before in the area so we don’t have to drive so far. I’ll show her your camp photo but I’m sure she’d rather stay in a motel.

Incredible beauty, Michael. And how special to be camping under the full moon. Lucky you.

Powerful photos. I love the ridges in the mountains. Did you get any sleep with all that light?

Thanks Katelon. The last night there was cloud cover so it wasn’t too bright. My new tent is dark blue and that seems to keep the light out.

I also stay at hotels but some places are so remote, you have to camp to get the best shots

Incredibly beautiful moon captures! A beautiful spot to camp. Do you ever run into animals while camping?
