Tall Tales From The Field

Christmas in Yellowstone Video +

I’ve always liked this PBS documentary. Reminds me of my 2 winter seasons working in Yellowstone. It’s a great place to visit in the winter. Here’s some photos I took of this Red Fox mousing plus the PBS program which has footage of a Red Fox doing its thing.

A red fox appears from behind the trees to search for its next meal.

A red fox dives under the snow to catch its prey in a technique called "mousing" at Yellowstone National Park

  10. I was scrolling down the photos of the fox, thinking, how playful. Until the end . . . of the photos, of the prey 🙂 Great photos.
