Using Adobe software, I took some images and changed the hues and colors and combined them in a video.

The colors were at peak along the glassy waters of Kolob Reservoir in Southern Utah,
Cedar Canyon is between Cedar City and Cedar Breaks National Monument in Southern Utah. It is marked by Ponderosa Pines, Aspens and sandstone cliffs. Autumn is a special time to visit at or past peak color.
The aspens are changing colors at Grand Canyon National Park and the adjoining Kaibab National Forest in Northern Arizona.

This is the first post of three capturing the fall color season at Zion National Park, Utah. Peak colors arrived a few weeks later than normal and was quite beautiful. While shooting the fall foliage, I noticed a number of geological wonders I had not noticed before. Those images will appear in the next post.
The fall foliage is past its peak in the upper elevations in Southern Utah. Dixie National Forest had spots of bright colors on Thursday but nearby, the same aspen trees were leaveless. The colors are now migrating down towards Zion National Park where it will reach peak color with its maples, Gambel Oaks, and cottonwoods in the next week or two. The pics below are from Dixie National Forest and north of Kolob Reservoir in the high country out towards Cedar Breaks and east of Cedar City.
