A Day In NYC

Actually it was about 6 hours which clearly wasn’t enough but the visit brought back some memories after 40 years being away.

Fall colors have arrived to New York’s Central Park and the city skyline.

I took the Staten Island Ferry into Manhattan which was one way we entered the city when I was a kid.

The subway hasn’t changed.

Forgot to bring my dogs.

The Guggenheim stands out.

Every kind of food vendor was present.

The steps to The Met.

5th and 57th

5th Avenue Sidewalk adjacent to Central Park.

This soft pretzel was a bit stale. Probably a leftover from when I was a kid.

The tall building on left is now called One World Trade Center, formerly the Freedom Tower.

Steinway Towers Is Just 57 Feet Wide, Making It World’s Skinniest Skyscraper. It’s the tall tower in the first photo of this post.

Statue of Liberty Is tall but not so skinny.

World War One Statue.

Verrazano Narrows Bridge

Trashy…….

Heading Back.
