Amazing photos!
Beautiful photos Michael. It looks like you had a good time traveling around, too, seeing all this beauty!
Thanks Katelon. I’m heading to Colorado next week to capture fall colors and see friends. I’m going to try to go thru Rico as you previously suggested
Have a great trip. I haven’t been back to CO since I left in 98. I miss it. When you drive through Rico there are mountains filled with Aspens on each side, as it is in a valley. As you drive to Telluride, Lizard Head pass and the lake there are quite pretty, too.
Thanks for the tips
Beautiful photos.
Thanks!
My son and I headed to Grand Gulch, in Utah, from CO, years ago. We then took a small road down from there, south, and saw the most amazing view we’d ever seen as Valley of the Gods was in front of us and Mexican Hat’s mountains were to the east of that, with their colorful stripes that look like Mexican skirts. It was breathtaking. When you drive from Rico to Telluride you will be going over Lizard Head Pass and the Lake is off to the right side. Another favorite view of mine is driving from Telluride west then north, through Ridgway. I love the beautiful vista there.
I really like that drive from Ridgway, lots of aspens but looking forward going thru Lizard Head pass
Great set! Beauties!
Beautiful photos, Mike. I esp. love the meadow views. The one in front of the aspens looks like a chalk drawing!
That meadow only seems to pop with color when it has lots of rain which it did this year.
Breathtaking….
Thank you, Michael for sharing!
Beautiful images and compositions. You have a great eye for detail!
Thanks for the kind words!
