Monsoons have been a welcome sight to Southern Utah. We need the rain!
A lot of rain dropping here.

On a clear day you can see into Arizona from this spot. Not today.

Very beautiful photos! Las Vegas needs a lot more rain but we aren’t getting it, unfortunately. It’s just humid which is a bummer…
Thanks John These storms are hit and miss.
Stunning photos Michael!
Thanks Katelon
Great captures, Mike. I’m envious, we desperately need rain!
You need rain too?
Yes, we do. New England normally gets 45″/yr. evenly dispersed through the year, roughly 1″ per week. We’ve had maybe 2″ since June. The plants are not adapted to that at all. Hard to see them so stressed. The rainfall this week has been very spotty. Great if you happen to be under a cloudburst, but too bad if you’re not!
Our storms are really spotty. On all these photos I showed rain clouds, I didn’t get rained on at all
. FYI- Southern Utah gets about 16 inches rain/year
Very powerful captures.
Thanks Cornelia!
Thank you for these wonderful photographs…..
You’re welcome Janet!
Amazing photos
Thanks Alison!
WOW! They are all so beautiful, great shot. Thank you, Love, nia
Thanks Nia!
Incredible images!
Thanks Terry!
I thought it rained here… but nothing like those solid walls of rain in your photos! Beautiful and spectacular scenery you have there…
The rain storms here come in cells where you can isolate them from a distance
when you see one coming, does it follow a predictable path so give you a chance to avoid it?
They are somewhat predictable if you check oval radar which shows the direction
well that’s helpful at least. Here you just make sure you carry a coat at all times as it’s very patchy and unpredictable.
