The Many Faces Of The Purple Coneflower

These grow on my property and are one of may favorite flowers as they’re so photogenic and are also used to produce a popular herbal tea.

These coneflowers of the Echinacea species are used to make an extremely popular herbal tea, purported to help strengthen the immune system; an extract is also available in tablet or liquid form in pharmacies and health food stores. Often cultivated, Purple Coneflower is a showy, easily grown garden plant.

These are fun to photograph although I took a bud from one and shoot it inside on different lay flat surfaces

Do you harvest it for use at all? I’ve been using and studying herbs since 1976. Did you know that red clover is one of the most powerful blood cleansers?

I met a medicine man who had a tumor growing out of his skull. Doctors of course gave him the regular AMA bs. He gathered and used yellow dock and red clover and the tumor dissolved.
