I had just entered Rocky Mountain National Park and while setting up at my campsite, these 2 moose decided to come by for a drink of water.

great catches. . . so close to your table
Wow, Micheal great photos and such a treat for you.
Sweet captures, Mike. It’s nice to see them looking so healthy. Many of the ones here in the Northeast are struggling with tick-borne disease, some to the point of death.
Sorry to hear about that Eliza. These 2 look real healthy.
Agree with Eliza! These do look healthy. I saw one up around Fort Collins this summer and he had the tick issue she mentions. Digging all the photos from your trip!
Too bad about the tick issue. Hopefully biologists can help. The elk at Rocky looked very healthy. I took over 2,000 photos so many more to come
Sweet. Looking forward to seeing them. I broke down and bought a new DSLR…I’ve only been using my iPhone….I LOVE IT. Hopefully I’ll have some good things to share in the coming months.
You made the right choice by going DSLR. You then have to buy a bunch of cool lenses like a zoom lens and super wide-angle lens. Then you should choose a good photo editing software such as Lightroom or Photoshop. I teach my students how to shoot in manual all the time.
the lenses – the lenses are the best part!!! thanks for the comments Michael!
LOVE LOVE LOVE these moose photos. We see quite a few by our cabin these days but I can never get enough of them. These photos capture them in a beautiful setting 🙂
Moose are pretty tranquil especially in a setting like Rocky Mtn NP
How cool! I didn’t get to see any young moose but a lot of the adult bulls.
