The snow highlights and misty clouds are wonderful. Great series, Mike!
Thanks Eliza. I was there to visit a friend but was fortunate that the weather conditions were perfect which isn’t always the case at the GC
Glorious images, Michael. When I started to scroll, I loved the second and third, yet I hadn’t seen all of them, after that I couldn’t decide which one is my favorite, they are all magic. What I really love abut them , is the combination of drama and the glow.
Thanks Cornelia. It was one of those days where the light and clouds and lanscape played off each other. The next morning, the skies were clear and the scene uneventful.
Michael, you must join 500px. It is a wonderful photography platform. I love it! Joni Durrant
Thanks Joni. I’ll check it out
And I am telling you, Michael! You are going to absolutely love 500PX. It was designed by photographers and is so easy to upload and see and be inspired by others. I want to see your incredible images gain a larger audience 👍
I didn’t realize that I was already a member but haven’t uploaded anything for awhile. I need to get re-aquainted.
I have wanted to take a trip to TGC for years now but I’ve always wanted to do it during the winter months! These pics are awesome and so fascinating! Great job!
Thanks Beth. Try to go when there will be some precipitation. It is cold there during the winter however
Thanks for the tip! I’m super heat sensitive so I would have to go when it’s the cooler months!
admire these captures
of AZ adventure!
i worked in that
canyon years ago 🙂
Super nice series! So moody! I didn’t know it snows in Grand Canyon! I always imagined this area like a hot and dry desert
The canyon rims are at high elevation so it gets frigid! Burr!
