Quixotic-    “kwik-sot-ik.”   exceedingly idealistic;

    unrealistic and impractical of or like Don Quixote.

As he is now a well behaved individual, he has  cut down on his quixotic

outings, though the prospect of getting fatally maimed on

one of those windmills is always enticing.
