The wildlife at Yellowstone National Park is as good as it gets in our national parks. The shots below were taken in a span of just one year including winter. Probably why I voted YNP as the best national park.
The series on the fox is amazing, but I also like the one of the grey wolf. And I know I wouldn’t have been that close to the bear cub with its mother!
I can’t believe you’ve actually been so lucky to see a badger in the wild. The fox is amazing as well. How long do you have to wait to get those kinds of photos with the fox jumping, etc. Thanks for capturing these beautiful creatures on camera so we can all marvel in their beauty. I hope they will continue to be around for many more years. Beautiful collection of images!!
Thanks Lexi. I was leading a photography group through Yellowstone in the winter and received a tip from another snowcoach driver that a red fox was up ahead. So I hurried to get to the spot and the group was thrilled as we all got great pics and the fox never noticed us about 100 feet away. The red fox hunting is called “mousing”
