Zion Canyon Night Sky

Not only is the Milky Way apparent in the sky, but so are the Sacred Datura Flowers that bloom through the night. Shot on different nights in Zion Canyon at Zion National Park, Utah

Great photos! When you live near the city lights you tend to forget how many stars there really are in the Milky Way. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful! Want to try this one day if I am able. What size lens did you use?

Thanks Emilio. You’ll have to drive quite aways from Vegas to find dark skies!

Well, Mojave National Preserve is only about an hour and a half from where we live. Not too bad. We went there for the perseid meteor shower. And though we didn’t see many, it wasn’t because of any lights from the city. But the moon was out!
