    Brilliant shots. I remember as a child being able to look up into the night sky and see the long paint brush of stars in the night. Light pollution has made that nearly impossible today.

      Thanks. Even in the small town I live in, I have to travel a few miles outside to get away from the light

    So stunning. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen the Milky Way.

      The new moon is tomorrow which means no moon when the Milky Way is best seen. Go to a dark place free from city lights and look towards the southwest and you’ll see a thick band of stars. I was just outside now and could see the Milky Way right above me. Best after 11pm from March thru October!
