The lines and shapes of the sand dunes at Eureka Valley at Death Valley National Park make for some good abstract images. The contrast between shadows and highlights also accentuate the abstractness.

The lines, shadows and colors are simply magnificent, Michael. The reveal of light in many of them is stunning.
Thanks Jane. For the most part, the light was fantastic while I was there for 3 days. That helps
As I scrolled through your great series I tried to choose a fav….Nope, I couldn’t choose. Well done.
Thanks for the great comment. I was really fortunate to have great light for the 3 days I was at Death Valley.
Ahh. but you saw the light and captured it perfectly.
Great photographs. You captured amazing lights there, I remember the desert from St.Exupéry’s words now. Fascinated me, your photographs as the book. Thank you, Love, nia
Stunning photos. Blue, white and beige…the colors of ocean, sand and sky even without the water 🙂
Beautiful shots. Thanks for the reminder that I need to revisit Death Valley.
SO beautiful! Thanks for sharing this wilderness with us!
Practically no footprints on the dunes!
These dunes are in a remote area of Death Valley so few footprints which is the reason I like to go there
