The aptly name Nautilus is an unusual rock formation carved by erosion in Southern Utah.
Amazing pictures. You have a special talent. Where is this?
Thanks. This is along the Paria River, about 1 mile south of Highway 89 between Kanab, Utah and Page Arizona
What an interesting formation, and I like how you’ve given me a sense of the depth of the rock with a person in the middle. I suppose this was formed by water.
It was formed by water but I don’t think water has much an effect anymore. That is me at the bottom. I set my 10 second timer and rushed to get to the bottom!
Well done! You got your exercise for the day and a great photo at the same time.
Gorgeous! I wish I lived closer to it!
Beautiful textures and colors. Thanks for putting in scale. 🙂
Wonderful Photos. Southern Utah is my favorite place to go! My daughter and I made two recent trips there, and would love to go again!
It’s a wonderful place. Thanks!
