Sad about the fires…although sometimes we need them. That first image is wonderful!!

Ah..forest fires are so sad.

It seems to be recovering well. My favorite is #3 – love the light, and the vertical and horizontal.

The fire was in 2006. Seems like the aspens are growing back first although the forest service has planted Ponderosa Pines and Douglas Fir.
