Every month, the moon comes all the way around in its orbit so that it is mostly between us and the sun. These images were taken yesterday at Zion National Park, Utah.

Beautiful images … I am inspired! I went out the other night after the moon went down but haven’t found the ideal spot yet … I need to get closer to the mountains I think. What illuminated those peaks in the distance?

Thanks Denise. It took me some time to find the good spots at Zion. The light in the distance was from either Springdale or St george
