Were you disappointed that the smoke obscured your view? To go all that way, after all. But it adds a primeval feeling to the photos, right in tune with the geology. 🙂

They are all over the place up here too. ‘Tis the season I suppose.

The place I go camping every 2 weeks is closed right now. It’s 75 degrees there. Where I live, it’s 100!

Yah, it’s around this time of year where all of us get tired of the heat and want to move somewhere cooler. My young nephew was just asking me if I wanted to move to Ireland with him where it is cooler and rains more often. (Smart kid.)
