Some More Surreal Clay Bed Images

The location for these clay beds is very close to my formerly somewhat secret spot of colorful clay beds.

Hard to believe those fantastic colors come from nature.

Many of these look like abstract paintings. Or maybe the skin of a Vulvan wilgalunger.

Ok Susanne. What is a Vulvan Wilgalunger?

      1. Susanne Avatar

I made that up, Andrew, because I couldn’t think of any earthly real thing that some of the images resemble! I meant to say “Vulcan” as in Star Trek but my fingers had a different thought!

I kind of thought you may have made that up. You’re very creative!

Beautiful images and clearly a great location to absorb. Can you tell me where this is, so I might find it from the air?

Please forgive me for mentioning that, but I can so very well picture your images as tiles above a bath tub in a beautifully set bathroom. I would love to look at them while taking a relaxing bubble bath. Does that sound weird to you??? Well I am serious, that’s how much I love your images

    1. Michael Andrew Just Avatar

Thanks Cornelia. No, that doesn’t sound weird at all. I’m glad you get some type of reaction. The colors do it for me too!

Incredible beauty you’ve captured, Michael. Nature’s wonders.

I think I like these best of all! Truly outstanding and what a great eye to find the abstracts! There are some badlands like these in BB, but colors aren’t quite as vibrant and varied. I’ll look harder next trip out!!
