You live a mile from one of the most breathtakingly humbling places in this country–what great fortune. Your images capture its majesty. It’s one of my favorite places, ever.

Fantastic set, Michael. The landscape with the spot of sunlight and the snowy trees against the red rock especially caught my eye. Wonderful.

Thanks. No, we don’t get too much snow. In the highest elevations, we’ll get feet of snow. I wish we received more snow but this is mostly a desert environment. Also, the snow doesn’t stick much to the steep vertical canyon walls
