Stormy Zion Country

Persistent  rains and thunderstorms continue to invade Southern Utah and Zion National Park. Flash flooding remains a threat as Pacific storms migrate from Southern California. Which of course can provide some dramatic photos.

It’s amazing how the light does change if you just wait a few minutes. The storms here move through pretty quickly.

WOW! You have inspired me to visit Zion soon with these awesome images. It is about a 6 hr. drive for me. What is the best time of the year to go?

The first week of November is best as Fall Colors are near peak and hotel rates are reduced by 40%.
