A Friendly Walk Up the Narrows

Visiting friends, Ken and Rich from St. Louis, requested the mandatory stroll up Zion National Park’s The Narrows. A must for any visitor. The Virgin River is very refreshing to hike through on a 90 degree day. It’s still hot here in Southern Utah.

Beautiful! Looks like the entire hike is either walking in the river or over rocks. Is that correct?

Thanks Katelon. You are in water about 60% of the time although you could be in the water much more

Is it a hike you could do with kids?

      2. Michael Andrew Just Avatar

I would say kids 10 and above

Thanks. I have an “adopted ” Navajo daughter, who lives in St George and I’d like to get them into Zion. She’s got some kids younger than that though. I’m sure they’d enjoy playing in the river though. I still plan to contact you for a photography day when I make it back there.

Since I’d not likely being doing this hike, I doubly appreciate the tour!

Thanks Katerina. Zion is really cool(Fall colors at peak this week) but so is all of Southern Utah and Northern Arizona

Incredible photos. I only stopped by Zion for a day – definitely not long enough!
